neither, it's a tension pole that holds up great

It has two brackets that mount to the wall via drywall anchors then the product latches onto the brackets via a little screw below the product so you can't see it. Works great.

There are two round mounting disks that have two screws that secure them to the wall and are oriented by a template that comes with the unit. Then the shelving unit secures to the mounting disks and tightened onto them with set screws. I installed mine in a ceramic tile shower stall and is very tight and secure.

Is the product a latch on to the wall or screw into the wall?

the towel bar is not removable, but you can barely see it anyways, it's only 2 maybe 3 inches from the bottom of the shelf. it's very handy for other things though, like a shower squeegee or a brush.

You don't need the towel bar but the part that holds the bar will still be there below the glass, just not the bar going across.

NO the towel bar is set, you would have to remove the end bracket from the wall in order to take it off

After the unit is installed, the towel bar is NOT removeable. You could install it without the bar, but then it would look incomplete.

Not removable. It's stabilizes the shelving unit. If you don't want the towel bar there are ones without them. I'm using mine in the shower so we use it for wash cloths

Frosted on one side and smooth on the other but somewhat tranparent, slight green tint on edges. It is tempered

The rack is very nice and is very secure on my wall. I like the frosted glass on top to put small candles on the only thing that I did not like about this rack was that the metal bar that the towel hangs off of, rotates when you take the towel off and on so it's not in one spot

Nice product

After looking at many towel bars with glass shelves this one is the best and the also the least expensive! Others were up to $250.00! Also the towel hangs out from the wall just the right distamce. It comes with a template to hang perfect and the brackets are mounted first and then the glass is placed between the end pieces. The glass is tempered and frosted on one side, very nice. This is my first time ordering from Walmart.com and it was very easy free shipping pickup from store.

just what I wanted

Perfect for my small bathroom.  I  needed a place for hand towels and a few decorative items on shelf.  Glass shelf perfect accent.  Many complements and all others I've seen were pricey, but not as nice.

Oil Rubbed Glass Shelf with Towel Bar

I love this shelf! I bought it to put my lotions and potions on the glass shelf and to use the towel bar part of it to hang all of my necklaces and bracelets. Looks fantastic and works well in a small bathroom.

Just Right

I bought 3 of these while renovating my 3 bathrooms. I was surprised at how expensive they were elsewhere, and these were much more in line with what I could afford. I was worried that they might look cheap, but they don't. They're really nice. I haven't put them on the walls yet, but hopefully they'll hold up just fine.

plastic screw supports very weak.  better to buy your own better ones so that shelf is properly supported.

Was looking for a simple towel bar/shelf combo for months. Couldn't find anything (at least that I liked and that I could afford)! Saw this online, ordered it right away, it came within a week and my husband installed it in no time. Easy peasy and serves the purpose just as I wanted! I would recommend this product for sure.

The shelf works perfectly where I put it. The screws are poor quality, but that didn't surprise me much. I've only had it up a couple days, but I'm happy with it so far.

Looks nice

You would think it would be shipped to store without damage. But it came with the glass shelf cracked in many pieces. Was given a credit right at the counter where I picked it up, so not out my money, but disappointed to have to go find another one. You would think an outfit as big as Walmart would have the packaging process a little more reliable.
